Case Study - Christ Disciples International Ministries
Modernizing the Digital Infrastructure of Christ Disciples International Ministries
When Christ Disciples International Ministries approached New Web Creative, their website was running on an outdated proprietary CMS hosted overseas, making updates difficult and limiting their ability to grow. Our team led a full digital transformation — migrating the organization to WordPress, modernizing their website experience, and transitioning their email infrastructure to a secure and scalable platform.

About the Organization
Christ Disciples International Ministries is a nonprofit serving the Bronx community through food assistance, social services, and ministry programs. Their mission is to combat hunger and empower families to overcome obstacles preventing healthy and independent living.
Their vision is a community where individuals experience nourishment of body, mind, and spirit — leading to transformed lives and stronger communities.
The Challenge
The organization’s previous website was built on a proprietary content management system hosted by an overseas provider. The platform was outdated, difficult to update, and lacked modern capabilities such as analytics and flexible content management.
Key challenges included:
- Outdated proprietary CMS platform
- Hosting managed internationally with limited control
- Difficult content updates for staff
- No analytics or performance tracking
- Email infrastructure tied directly to hosting provider
The organization needed more than a redesign — they needed a complete digital infrastructure modernization.

After: A Modern Platform Built for Growth
New Web Creative rebuilt the website from the ground up using WordPress and Elementor, hosted on a modern infrastructure designed for stability and scalability. The new site features improved navigation, a refreshed visual design, and a flexible content structure that allows the organization’s team to easily update pages, share resources, and promote upcoming events.
We also migrated their digital infrastructure to Google Workspace for Nonprofits, successfully transferring more than 100,000 emails from the previous proprietary system. This provided the organization with a reliable, secure, and collaborative communication environment moving forward.
The result is a modern digital platform that better reflects the organization’s mission and makes it easier for visitors to find information, access services, and support their work through donations.
